For almost 40 years, S.A.M.S. has worked quietly. Most of our clients found us through a referral, and most of our work is never discussed in public. That will not change. But the organisations we serve have changed, and so have the ways decision-makers look for advice. Our new website is built for them.
What you'll find
Our services, explained plainly. Five core services — bespoke security management, risk assessments, security assessments and surveys, background checks, and security plans and manuals — each with its own page setting out what is included, who it suits and what you receive at the end.
The sectors we work in. Corporate organisations remain our primary focus. We also work with the public sector, maritime and port facilities, healthcare and community services, and construction and development projects. Each sector page explains how our approach adapts to that environment.
Insights. A growing library of practical articles on security governance, risk, site security, screening and procedures. They are written for decision-makers, not specialists, and each one ends with something you can act on.

What hasn't changed
We still do not publish client names or logos. References are shared privately, where appropriate. Our consultants still work on site for assessments and remotely for planning, documentation and advisory work, serving clients across Jamaica and the wider region.
And our approach is the same as it has always been: understand the environment, assess methodically, and recommend what a team can actually sustain.
Looking ahead to 40
On 19 March 2027, S.A.M.S. marks 40 years. Between now and then we will be sharing reflections on four decades of security advisory work in Jamaica, alongside our regular Insights. We hope you will follow along.
